HIV damages cells’ genes
It appears that immunodeficiency virus prepares the cells for subsequent development of cancer in them. Getting into an organism, HIV penetrates in lymph and affects straight to the genome of lymphocytes. That is why the Kaposi’s sarcoma and other cancers of lymphatic fluid, which are the most common HIV complications, develop in organism. The scientists from English Cancer Center are going to slow down or even completely block lymphoid cells interaction with immunodeficiency virus by control of their growth and segmentation rate, and to prevent development of malignant tumors. 

Treatments for HIV Symptoms with the Help of Inhibitors
At present time clinical trials of new medicine of HIV, based on the idea of “immunodeficiency virus expelling from a cell”, are conducted. As HIV is practically defenceless in the intercellular space, the immune system can easily cope with it. How could the virus be isolated from the DNA of human cells, indeed?
It is found, that the HDAC inhibitors, usually used for cancer treatment, are suitable for this good enough. In particular, laboratory researches have proved efficiency of the panobinostat inhibitor.  Work in this direction is carried on in the medical centers of Denmark and England, at present the tests are conducted on small groups of the volunteers. 

Advances in Creating of HIV Universal Vaccine
American scientists succeeded in approaching to creating of the broad-spectrum vaccine against the immunodeficiency virus. The main problem, that is facing the creators, is constant virus mutation. Once the vaccine against one strain is created, but HIV has already changed and the vaccine does not effect upon it.
New medicine is aimed to create neutralizing antibodies of broad action spectrum. It has been decided to use three different approaches at once to solve this problem.
1. Take the source material from people, who have strong immunity (it is clear, that the immune system activity in different people is significantly different, 1% of the population has native immunity to HIV). So the antibodies in people with strong immunity inhibit development of 40-60% of virus strains.
2. Follow the virus time variations towards infection beginning. Organism has produced an appropriate antibody for each HIV mutation. This variety can also be used.
3. Five various neutralizing antibodies of broad action spectrum are combined into the vaccine for reliability.
Such complex stimulation of HIV antibodies producing, conditioned on variety of the virus subtypes, just leads to broad action spectrum of the new vaccine effect. The vaccine slows down development of 90% of HIV strains.

The most examined virus in the world is the immunodeficiency virus. There are almost quarter of million scientific and medical articles are published about it. We know practically everything about its structure, breeding, proteins functions and etc. But we do not know only how destroy it…

Occurrence Frequency of Some Diseases when HIV-Infection
- The most common opportunistic infections in the CNS when AIDS are cryptococcosis, cytomegalovirus encephalitis and toxoplasmosis. In Africa the most common opportunistic infections in AIDS patients are candidiasis, pneumocystic pneumonia, tuberculosis.
- Pneumocystic pneumonia occurs in 85% of AIDS patients in USA.
- Cytomegalovirus infection is revealed in 50-85 % of patients with AIDS. Usually it is revealed by autopsy. Life-time diagnosis is uncommon.
- Various types of encephalitis are revealed in 45% of men and women with HIV symptoms.
- Diarrhea caused by opportunistic infections, makes up 30-50% in USA, and 70-90% in Africa and Haiti.
- More than in 50% of HIV-infected tuberculosis occurs in the months, immediately after the primary infection. In Uganda 66% of patients hospitalized because of tuberculosis, had HIV infection symptoms. In Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), died from AIDS, in 40% of cases tuberculosis was noted by autopsy of patients.
- The specialists ascribe the Kaposi’s sarcoma to the number of “AIDS-marker” diseases. Presence of this tumor in young people with immunity derangements allows diagnosing AIDS, not resorting to revealing of appropriate HIV antibodies in blood serum.
